Radio offers perhaps the closest equivalent today of what Jesus was able to do with large groups through His preaching.

Radio is an intimate medium that can reach people on the street, in their cars, or in their homes...

Radio may well be the most cost-effective means of reaching numbers of people who may not want to read or may lack exposure to Catholic publications - but will be willing to 'eavesdrop' on Catholic radio stations."

Here's Why You Should Listen To Divine Word Radio!

The 3 E's of Catholic Radio

One-third to one-fourth of all Gulf Coast radio stations are identified as broadcasting "religious, Christian Contemporary or Gospel" programming. These have been objectively classified as conveying "Protestant" themes. For many years, Catholic teaching was not being heard over the radio airwaves in the Gulf Coast. But Divine Word Radio brings you Divine Word Radio, with the fullness of truth found in the Catholic Church.

Catholic radio provides the 3 "E's": Evangelization, Education, and Ecumenism. Catholic radio, as much as any other means, serves Evangelization by helping bring lapsed Catholics and others to the fullness of truth. Catholic radio educates those Catholics in the pews to gain a deeper understanding of their faith. And for those individuals who may never convert to the Catholic faith, Catholic radio serves ecumenism by teaching our Protestant bretheren that we are closer in belief to them than they may have realized.

Please consider praying for us, volunteering to help us, and contributing to our capital and operating needs. With your help, Divine Word Radio can carry out the 3 E's of Catholic radio. Without your support, we can't succeed!
